Heather Snead joined Virginia Asset Management in 2017, bringing with her nearly 17 years of extensive experience from BB&T. As Vice President of Compliance and Business Operations, Heather oversees the firm’s comprehensive compliance program and leads a dynamic operations team dedicated to efficiency and excellence. She ensures supervision and oversight for all offices, advisors, and their practices, keeping the firm and its employees compliant in an ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
Heather holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 9 and 10 (General Securities Sales Supervisor), Series 24 (General Securities Principal), and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) credentials. She is also a Registered Representative and Registered Principal with Cetera Wealth Services, LLC.
Originally from Lynchburg, VA, Heather earned her Business Administration degree from Mary Washington College. She now calls Midlothian, VA home, where she resides with her husband, Travis, and their two sons. Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys Virginia Tech football and spending time with her family at the beach.
