The primary role of this position is to provide new business and ongoing service support for specific Financial Advisors (FAs) and teams in order to enhance and grow their business. Roles and responsibilities may vary dependent on the FA or team structure.

Major Responsibilities 

  • Client Relationship Management - handle requests, resolve issues, research, and assist with all client requests
  • Onboard new clients and establish accounts
  • Prepare and process documents, new applications, checks, distribution, and maintenance forms
  • Assist FAs/Team in ongoing development and maintenance of effective client relationships
  • Prepare all client review meeting materials for advisors; handle all meeting follow-up action items
  • Be knowledgeable of products and technology
  • Mutual fund, equity, ETF, and municipal bond trading in client accounts
  • Financial plan data entry and analysis
  • Review work methods and procedures for continual quality improvements and efficiencies, and implement them when appropriate
  • Work closely with other operations specialists, and provide backup support where needed
  • Specific requests as determined by team leader that may not be listed above

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry experience or education
  • College degree
  • Ability to pass a criminal history and credit background check
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive)
  • Learning agility with investment platforms such as eMoney and Envestnet

  • A strong attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities 
  • Series 7/66 & Virginia Life/Health Annuity license
