Job Responsibilities
Provide operational and administrative support to a Financial Advisory Team, allowing them to focus on building client relationships.
Work closely with Business Processing Specialists to help facilitate new account openings and provide backup support, as needed.
Work closely with clients and/or Advisors on any follow-up requests from the Broker/Dealer or outside companies/carriers.
Prepare and process asset movement requests and other service/maintenance requests.
Process deposits by check into client accounts.
Schedule and coordinate client meetings as desired by the Advisory team.
Collects, reviews and analyzes data to prepare reports and other presentation materials utilizing spreadsheets or specialized software for client meetings.
Maintain accurate client accounts and records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements; primarily using RedTail CRM.
Process client service requests such as beneficiary changes, address changes, bank account changes, etc.
Prepare various reports designed to help the Advisory team manage their practice.
Review work methods and procedures for continual quality improvements and efficiencies, implementing them when appropriate.
Participate in regular team and Firm meetings, designed to share best practices and problem solve as a team.
Securely handle confidential information.
Other projects assigned as needed by the Advisory Team.
Skills Required
- Proven success in prospecting and outside B2B (business-to-business) selling.
- Experience with small to mid-market companies (20 - 250 employees).
- Ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders, including business owners and human resources professionals.
- Must be assertive - yet consultative.
- Comfortable asking for introductions and referrals.
- Strong community relationships and ability to network.
- Excellent people skills and highly skilled in developing and fostering relationships with clients, insurance carriers, team members, and the community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and concisely.
- Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong decision-making ability.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
Technical proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
College degree, preferably in business related major or finance.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Outstanding attitude and positive energy.
Ability to pass a criminal history and credit background check.
Relevant financial services industry experience or education.
