John Philipkosky joined Virginia Asset Management in May of 2007, and brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry with him. John specializes in financial planning with an emphasis on retirement and wealth accumulation. John is a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional CFP®, and owns a Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations along with his life, health, and annuity insurance licenses. John is a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Chester, VA and has served on various committees (Youth, Call, and Stewardship). He has also held numerous leadership positions (President, VP, and Treasurer). John has also been a member of The Chester Rotary Club since 2003 and has held several leadership positions, including president. He currently resides in Chester, Virginia, and is married to the former Joan L. Hiler. He has two adult children, Eric and Leigh Beth. John is a Pittsburg Steeler and diehard Pirates fan. He enjoys spending time with his family and working in the yard.
