Crystal Huddleston

As Director of Professional Development, Crystal is responsible for all aspects of recruiting, training, and helping new advisors with their marketing and development. She loves talking to people about career opportunities in financial services and sharing her passion for the industry.

In 1994, Crystal joined the firm after serving as Employment Manager for 13 years with a large Richmond area retail operation consisting of 15 stores and over 1,200 employees. An alumna of the University of Richmond, Crystal focused on Human Resource Management and minored in Business. She also studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where she learned to speak Danish.

As an active member of the International General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA) and a past graduate of the Essentials of Management Development program, Crystal has qualified for the Frontline Leader Award each year since 2001. This award is based on the successful development of new financial advisors.

She is a past president of the Agency Management Resource Group (AMRG), which is a peer network of Managers affiliated with Securian Financial Network (SFN) and is a member of the Women's Interactive Sales Exchange (WISE), which provides female financial advisors within SFN opportunities to grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking and recognition.

Favorite pastimes include cooking, wine tasting, reading, yoga, and playing with her rescue kittens, Pippy, Audrey, Miss Kitty, and Pino. Her primary focus, however, is on her immediate family and traveling to visit them as often as possible in Carmel, CA, Phoenix, AZ, and London, England.
