Trey Zinsser offers fee-based comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services for individuals and families. He especially enjoys working with those affiliated with the military and/or airline industry based on his own professional experience in those fields.

A comprehensive financial plan can help with clarity of decision-making in your financial life.   Trey’s practice provides a fiduciary approach to financial planning, focusing on a solid financial foundation first and foremost, then on building and transitioning wealth in accordance with his client’s goals and wishes. Flexibility is key to the many financial unknowns in life. Building a plan with options for tomorrow’s changes in legislative/economic conditions and life circumstances requires thoughtful action today.  

Trey’s previous experience is as an airline pilot and in the United States Air Force as an officer and pilot. He continues to serve part-time in the Air National Guard and as a reserve pilot with a legacy US airline.

Education:

Trey earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

Personal:

Trey and his wife, Meg, reside near Charlottesville in Albemarle County, Virginia, with their three children, Liam, Wyatt, and Maddi. As a family, they enjoy hiking, vacationing at the beach or lake, and appreciating the great food, beverages, and live music that Charlottesville has to offer.
