Keith Burford graduated from Virginia Tech in 1977 with a bachelor of science in finance from the Pamplin College of Business, and has been in the financial services business since 1984. He is one of the original members of Virginia Asset Management when it formed in 1986, and he specializes in transition and exit planning for closely held or family owned businesses as well as investment advisory programs. Keith is both a registered securities representative and an investment advisor representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc. He is also a licensed life and health insurance representative. Keith has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 1984, and holds qualifications as a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Long Term Care. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a premier association of financial professionals. Keith has lived in the Richmond area for over 30 years and currently resides in Midlothian with his dog Grey and is an active supporter of the Richmond Animal League. Being a strong supporter of the Hokie Nation, Keith is a member of the Richmond Hokie Club and the VA Tech Alumni Association. In his free time he enjoys working out golf, and college football.
