Tom Brannock was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA where he attended St. Anne’s-Belfield School. He graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2004 with a B.S. in Sociology and a concentration in Accounting/Business. While at RMC, Tom was on the Lacrosse Team, was a member of the Resident Hall Association, and was a Peer Mentor, winning the Peer Mentor of the year award as a Junior. Before joining Virginia Asset Management in October of 2009, Tom was with First Market Bank as a Financial Services Advisor. Tom holds his Series 7, 66 registrations and Virginia Life and Health designations. He is also a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services and a Financial Advisor with VAM. Tom resides in Richmond’s “Fan District” and commutes to Charlottesville for business 2-3 days per week. He is active in both the Richmond and Charlottesville communities as a founding member of the Prevent Child Abuse Virginia “Young Professionals Committee,” a high school and NCAA Lacrosse Official, Geronimo Lacrosse Coach, St. Anne’s-Belfield Alumni Council Member, RMC Young Alumni Board member, and Memory Walk volunteer.
