Chad Scott Nystrom, a native of Petersburg, VA, joined Virginia Asset Management (VAM) as a Financial Advisor in 2005. Prior to joining VAM, she led a successful career with IBM and AT&T, most recently as a Division Manager, providing business solutions to companies in the Mid Atlantic area. Chad’s focus is on finding solutions to challenges faced by women, owners of closely held businesses, and corporate business executives as they plan for their financial future. She accomplishes this through building long term relationships, financial planning, and bringing the right resources to address the unique challenges her clients face. Chad is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc., and holds a Life and Health Insurance license. Chad is a “Spider” fan, having graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. Living in the West End of Richmond, giving back to the community is very important to Chad. She is a member of the Foundation of the Joan Grossman Fegely for Ovarian Cancer, as well as Chairwoman of Advisory Board for the Virginia Commonwealth Bank at Tuckahoe. She also served three years on the Board of Directors for Richmond Chapter of NAWBO and is currently on the Foundation Board. In her spare time, she can be found at Richmond Volleyball Club or Douglas Freeman High School, cheering on her son Scott in a variety of sports. She also enjoys tending to her garden at home.
