Buddy is a graduate of the University of Richmond’s School of Business Administration with concentration in finance. He is a co-founder of Virginia Asset Management and currently is helping both business and personal clients examine their financial programs and helping them find ways to put their money to different uses. Buddy has his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation, his Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation and holds the Series 6,63, 65, and 7 registrations. He is a registered representative and investment advisor representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. Buddy’s professional concentration has been in helping businesses with continuation strategies, nonqualified benefit strategies and employee benefits. Buddy is the immediate past- president of NAIFA Richmond (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and has served that board for almost 5 years along with membership for 20 plus years. He also is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Buddy and his wife Kathie have 5 children between them and they live in the Varina area of Henrico County. He is a member of the Varina Ruritan Club and attends Laurel Hill United Methodist Church. He enjoys playing golf and watching and keeping up with baseball.
