Keith L. Muth is an equity partner of Virginia Asset Management. A Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner™, Keith was one of only 158 financial advisors world-wide who had earned all three of these prestigious designations when he completed the CFA program in 2004. In 2007 and 2008,

Keith was named one of the nation’s top wealth advisors by Worth magazine. Keith joined Virginia Asset Management in 1996 and serves as Chief Investment Officer leading the investment advisory and financial planning operations of the firm. He maintains a personal practice that consists of fee-based personal financial planning and investment advisory services.

Keith joined Virginia Asset Management in 1996 from Trigon Healthcare Inc. where he served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the small & mid-size business markets. He has held Chief Financial Officer positions in the health insurance, airlines and manufacturing industries. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Keith also has done graduate work at the University of Vermont and St. Michael’s College in Burlington, Vermont. Keith is a registered representative and investment advisor representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc..

He has also earned the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and completed the educational requirements for the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts and the Certified Internal Auditor designation educational requirements from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Keith is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the CFA Institute.
