John Sarrett joined Virginia Asset Management in the summer of 2011, with 10 years experience in the financial services and insurance fields. A native of Virginia Beach, John graduated from The University of Richmond in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Post graduation, John attained membership in the PGA of America, and enjoyed a distinguished 15 year career as a club professional at prestigious country clubs in the Middle-Atlantic region, culminating with the Head Professional position at Willow Oaks Country Club from 1998-2001. John holds the Series 7, 65, registrations and Virginia Life and Health designations. Also, John is a registered representative and investment advisor representative with Securian Financial Services and a Financial Advisor with Virginia Asset Management. John resides in Briarwood with his wife Valerie. He has served in the community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Briarwood Association President, Golf Committee member at Meadowbrook Country Club, and Directed YMCA Y-Guides Program.
