Don is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. After successfully completing his C.P.A. designation, he spent many years in the public accounting and banking industries before transitioning to the Financial Services industry. Don’s primary focus is working with small and medium size business owners and high net worth individuals assisting them with their planning and wealth accumulation and preservation strategies. Don is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor with Securian Financial Services, Inc. He has completed the Professional Financial Planning course at Old Dominion University. Don is a member of the Norfolk Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also a member of First Lutheran Church, where he has been the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Lay Leader and a member of the church Council. Don is also on the Board of Directors of Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club, where he assists with long-range planning, membership and finance. A long-time resident of Virginia Beach, Don and his wife, Margel enjoy ballroom dancing, spending time with their grown children and grandchildren or working in the yard. When time permits, you can usually spot Don on the golf course.
